Don't Ever Give up
Concept & Philosophy

This is an experiment -
and you are the test sample.

Just as you, and all of us, are test samples for the experiment of the United States of America.

"The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people."
– George Washington

If you discover we cannot help you, or you do not like our methods or philosophy, you are free to leave (vise/versa).

Caution:
I will not succeed for you. Yet your success is my success.
(Pretty clever, huh?)
I have limits in capabilities, knowledge, and finance.
I also have obligations to family and others.
YOU have the freedom - and obligation to make your major decisions and maintain your moral beliefs.
So do I - and any other Participant.
Finally, there are some actions in/with which I will not participate due to my beliefs.

Something prompted you to look at this Site - probably a HOPE.
We are dealing with Hope and Dreams,
but if we do not suit you:
Build your own Dream,
in the best method possible.

Some of the concepts and philosophy behind this Project
We are happy and look forward to hearing your opinions.

I deeply believe what I see as the basic foundational concepts of this country.
I also believe that while I use The American Dream as keyword, I also deeply believe that the basic concept lives in most individuals all around the world, even and sometimes especially in oppressive environments.
We are a model and convenient example. We are not the total answer.

Other than wishing to toss my 2 cents into the United States pot, I have been doing a lot of reading and listening to our current situation. As stated in other pages, various models have influenced us greatly. But the key one for taking this particular Project was/is Mirror Test by Kael Weston.  If you have no other interest in this Project, we suggest reading that book.

We have participated in a lot of wars, including some very worthy ones: Revolutionary War, WWII... ???
But while we are willing to fight for our freedom, do we wish to imitate so many other nations in history that found excuses to kill and pillage neighbors, other nations, even their own people? I think Adams was right in 1821:

"America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom."
– John Quincy Adams (1821)

We have our philosophy, our opinions, here at AmericanDreamer, and are willing to invest both time and money in our beliefs. But we also recognize that we could be wrong in a concept, or action -
and are willing to discuss our positions, in a civil manner.

We believe that the United Sates should unite within, as a model to other nations - not as an invader.

So we are asking a few individuals and families to unite with us as a model for a grander model.

We shall develop a page for discussion of ideas and philosophy.

Like many small organizations, this little project, could remain small and still help a few, die off entirely,
or grow to have a major influence in USA - maybe the world.
There are many examples. One is the EAA. One man's idea to help himself and others, put together 30 some like-minded individuals - and resulted in not only a powerful and productive organization, but its members take action and have fun.
