Why?      
This Section is a VERY rough Draft – just to note ideas till we have a chance to edit it.

Well, I grew up with WWII pilots and individuals who were building their Dreams. . . including my mother and Stepfather. . . so that and reading 1000s of books (literally) from a young age.

And Yes, I recommend reading – not phones or computers if you can avoid them.

WHY VB4AD... 11 October 2024 The Silver Prince (a named I dubbed because he flies a very silver aircraft.) asked me why would I start this little 501c3 - to help strangers, people I did not know?? (implied: Why not myself, family, friends. My wife and son ask the same question.) I answered by trying to explain the history of my mother and Ellis, and then others - in the short time that I was walking out the door knowing that he had a lot of work to do. But as I drove to the airport, I thought that my mother and Ellis were not the only reasons.

There are more reasons.

First the selfish reason:
Since a child, I have read thousands of books from Jack London to. . . oh a lot of Westerns, the Virginian, Bret Hart, War and Peace, Ernie Gann, Saint Exupéry - 
just a massive amount of fiction and biographies. Oh, and histories, mostly about World War II and the period between the wars.
Serious stuff like Terry and the Pirates, fiction and fantasy, Yes?

Well yes and no. Because as I was growing up with WWII pilots, my mother and the others were living ordinary lives, except that they were not ordinary...
Yes, they lived in the house next door went to work rather as their neighbors did, but not quite as most neighbors.
The folk I knew, that I grew up with, often worked seven days and twelve plus hours a day... then they also looked over the world around them - and found, and saw, two things that the neighbors were missing: 1. Joy in their lives and their work, and 2. very often, a different way of doing things.
As I said, I read a lot about heroes, fictional, in other worlds-- and I opened my eyes to see heroes that were around me, in books and in my house. POV – Point Of View.
